The San Antonio Spurs have quickly emerged as one of the most promising young teams in the league. After a noteworthy Finals run this year, the Spurs will be hungry for another chance at winning it all.
San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox could emerge as a trade candidate this season if he performs well early on, according to reporting by Heavy.com’s Sean Deveney cited by Fadeaway World. While Fox remains under a substantial long-term contract, Deveney suggests a strong start could reignite trade interest, despite the Spurs viewing him as a key contributor alongside Victor Wembanyama.
Fadeaway World notes that moving Fox could help San Antonio address backcourt depth and clear a starting role for Dylan Harper. Last season, the 28-year-old guard averaged 18.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game.
