Collin Murray-Boyles' impact against the Wizards' frontcourt was obvious, but his foul troubles sparked a bigger issue for the Raptors to address.

Raptors Rapture writer Chris Lambert argues that Collin Murray-Boyles' foul trouble highlights the ongoing risks of deploying him as a small-ball center. During Toronto's Friday game against the Washington Wizards, Murray-Boyles picked up five fouls in just 17 minutes of action. Despite his limited playing time, he posted eight points, three rebounds, three steals, and a team-high plus-21 rating.
Lambert contends that Murray-Boyles' size disadvantage forces excessive physicality when protecting the rim, inevitably leading to quick fouls. The writer urges general manager Bobby Webster to acquire another true center to relieve frontcourt pressure on head coach Darko Rajakovic's rotation.
