In an outstanding night of Raptors basketball, Toronto’s season started with a blowout win at home against the Chicago Bulls. Was it an efficient win? Not really. Were the Chicago Bulls putting up much of a fight? Again, not really.…

The Toronto Raptors opened their season with a dominant 135-92 home blowout victory over the Chicago Bulls. Toronto established control early through physical defense and outside shooting, leading by substantial margins throughout the game. Four Raptors starters scored over 20 points, effectively putting the contest away early enough that garbage time commenced with nearly five minutes left on the clock.
Scottie Barnes recorded 23 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Kawhi Leonard also scored 23 points, added six assists, and collected four steals. Chicago struggled without Nic Claxton, as starting point guard Josh Giddey finished with just two points on 1-of-10 shooting under strong defensive pressure from RJ Barrett.
