Scottie Barnes has future as background actor thanks to viral news clip

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes went viral after comically reacting in the background of a live television report on Thursday, September 24. While CTV reporter Sean Leathong delivered a live broadcast outside the Raptors' practice facility discussing Kawhi Leonard's contract, Barnes ate lunch and silently acted out reactions behind him without the reporter appearing to notice.

Barnes is entering the upcoming NBA season after earning his second All-Star appearance and a second-team All-Defense selection. Last season, he played a career-high 80 games, averaging 18.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game as the Raptors finished with a 46-36 record.
