Utah Jazz rookie prospect Darryn Peterson received high praise during Jazz Media Day ahead of the season. Center Mo Bamba compared Peterson to two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard, citing his quiet demeanor, mid-range scoring, and scoring ability despite the two playing different positions.
Bamba also noted that teammate Jusuf Nurkic compared Peterson to star guard Damian Lillard. Although Utah features established players like Lauri Markkanen, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Keyonte George, excitement continues to build around Peterson's long-term development.
