Warriors Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg Turns Down Media Training

Golden State Warriors rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg revealed to Luca Evans of The San Francisco Chronicle that he has turned down media training. The 24-year-old emphasized his desire to remain candid and honest during public interviews rather than offering robotic answers, despite his outspoken remarks previously causing controversy online following comments about Luka Doncic.

Alongside his unfiltered demeanor, Lendeborg has made an immediate on-court impact for Golden State, averaging 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across his first eight NBA games. ESPN's Shams Charania noted that the rookie is performing like an All-Star and altering the team's trajectory as the Warriors prepare to host the Miami Heat.
