The Washington Wizards need more offensive production from Sarr, who has struggled to make his presence felt alongside the starting lineup.

Wiz of Awes writer Ethan Kinney argues that Alex Sarr must take on a larger role to help revitalize the Washington Wizards' struggling offense. Despite boasting a talented roster featuring Anthony Davis, AJ Dybantsa, and Trae Young, Washington ranks 21st in offensive efficiency, partly due to Sarr's quiet start to his third NBA season.
Through seven games, Sarr is averaging career lows of 9.6 points and six rebounds in 25 minutes per contest. Kinney asserts that Sarr should exploit easier defensive matchups, increase his shot attempts beyond 6.9 per game, and become more than just a rim protector.
