Washington led by as much as 25 points and never trailed during the contest, despite Chicago trimming the deficit to four points following a late 9-0 run with one minute remaining.

Washington earned a franchise-record 28 wins this season heading into the playoffs. Sonia Citron led the Mystics with 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting, while Kiki Iriafen and Michaela Onyenwere each scored 16 points.
