Washington saw an encouraging glimpse of Anthony Davis as a spacer. Turning that into a season-long strength could transform the Wizards’ offensive potential.

Wiz of Awes writer Ethan Kinney argues that the Washington Wizards' offense could become significantly more dangerous if Anthony Davis can reliably space the floor from three-point range. In his first game since January 8, Davis posted 16 points and seven rebounds in 17 first-half minutes, shooting 2-for-3 from beyond the arc.
Kinney notes that Washington faces spacing concerns with players like AJ Dybantsa, Alex Sarr, and Deandre Ayton. Davis regaining his outside shot would reportedly open driving lanes for teammates and expand pick-and-roll opportunities with Trae Young.
