The Washington Wizards announced that 2026 first overall pick AJ Dybantsa will make his NBA debut on Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 19-year-old forward missed the team's first four regular-season games after suffering an ankle injury during a preseason matchup on October 16.
Dybantsa averaged 13 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in three preseason games following a standout college season at BYU. He joins an active Wizards squad that started the 2026-27 campaign with a 2-2 record.
