Anthony Davis is giving the Wizards every reason to commit long-term. If he keeps playing at this level, extending him should be an easy decision.

Ethan Kinney argues that the Washington Wizards should sign Anthony Davis to a contract extension if his strong performance continues. Davis recently posted 27 points, nine rebounds, and four steals in Washington's 103-94 victory over the Orlando Magic, moving the team above .500 through the first seven games of the season.
Kinney highlights that Davis is averaging 23 points and 9.1 rebounds while shooting a career-high 36.8 percent from three-point range. He suggests Davis could decline his upcoming $62 million player option to secure a long-term deal that provides financial security and anchors the Wizards' roster.
