The Washington Wizards announced on Sunday that they have signed guard Alondes Williams to an Exhibit-10 contract. The agreement allows the 27-year-old to join the team for training camp without counting against Washington's standard 15-man roster. Because Williams has exhausted his two-way contract eligibility, the franchise is expected to secure his rights and transition him to their G League affiliate afterward.
If waived by the Wizards, Williams can earn a bonus of up to $90,000 by signing with the Capital City Go-Go. Across four appearances for Washington last season, he averaged 11.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists, highlighted by a 25-point performance against the Indiana Pacers.
