After a slow start to the season, the longtime sharpshooter has begun to find his range, securing a sorely needed win for the Heat.
Klay Thompson hit a game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds of overtime to lift the Miami Heat to a 117-116 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Thompson finished the contest with a season-high 30 points, capping Miami's rally from a 20-point deficit.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with season highs of 35 points and 10 rebounds. The win marked Miami's third victory in four games following a difficult start to the season, while handing the struggling Clippers their seventh consecutive defeat.
