San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that star pass rusher Nick Bosa is unlikely to play against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Bosa remains week-to-week after suffering a calf injury in practice before Week 3. Defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. is also not expected to play due to an ongoing ankle injury.
In positive news for the defense, defensive lineman Mykel Williams is working toward making his season debut after recovering from a torn ACL. With Bosa likely sidelined, Ogbo Okoronkwo is expected to start alongside Keion White as the 4-0 49ers battle the 3-1 Seahawks for first place in the NFC West.
