The Arizona Cardinals fell one spot from 28th to 29th in ESPN's Week 5 NFL power rankings following a loss to the New York Giants. The defeat intensified questions regarding the team's quarterback position as they continue working through self-inflicted miscues under head coach Mike LaFleur.
ESPN reporter John Weinfuss noted that Arizona struggled to overcome repeated mistakes, which included a fourth-and-goal pick-six thrown by quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Additionally, offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. has been placed on injured reserve and ruled out for the season following surgery.
