Focus For Mike LaFleur Is 1-0, Not QB1

Arizona Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur confirmed that Jacoby Brissett will remain the starting quarterback despite some fan calls for rookie Carson Beck. LaFleur emphasized that his focus remains entirely on working toward a win this week rather than contemplating a change under center. The Cardinals are preparing for an upcoming matchup against the Lions.

Brissett stated that he blocks out outside noise and speculation regarding his starting role, describing the external chatter as part of the job. Beck has not seen game action since the preseason Hall of Fame game against reserves, with Darren Urban noting it is difficult to argue the rookie currently gives the team a better chance to win.
