Bears quarterback Caleb Williams said Wednesday he will continue to sport the Caddix cleats he was fined $11,941 for wearing during Chicago's Week 6 win at Atlanta -- a fine that he has appealed, according to a source.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams stated he will continue wearing unapproved Caddix cleats despite receiving an $11,941 fine from the NFL following a Week 6 game against Atlanta. Williams explained his decision is centered on health and injury prevention, citing the shoe's technology designed to reduce strain on joints. The NFL penalizes players for displaying unauthorized logos, as only Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour hold official league partnerships.
Williams has appealed the fine and confirmed he will not cover the logo during Chicago's upcoming game against Seattle. Caddix founder Jack Rasmussen and NFL quarterback Joe Flacco, an athlete advisor for the company, have offered to pay any ongoing fines incurred by Williams. Caddix is scheduled to hold a hearing with the NFL on Nov. 10.
