The Denver Broncos signed veteran defensive back Ugo Amadi to their practice squad on Friday ahead of their Week 5 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The signing follows injuries to starting cornerbacks Patrick Surtain II and Riley Moss, who were both ruled out for the upcoming divisional matchup.
Amadi, a 29-year-old entering his seventh NFL team, brings 85 games of league experience to a depleted secondary. Denver is expected to rely on Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine on the outside, while Amadi provides depth behind nickel corner Ja'Quan McMillian.
