Tennessee coach Robert Saleh and Houston coach DeMeco Ryans put friendship aside in battle of winless teams.

The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans will meet in Nashville on Sunday, with both teams searching for their first win after starting the season 0-4. Houston entered the year with Super Bowl aspirations, while Tennessee is looking to snap a 10-game losing streak against AFC South opponents. The matchup also pits Titans head coach Robert Saleh against Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans, who are close friends.
To spark a turnaround, Ryans announced he is taking over defensive playcalling duties from coordinator Matt Burke after Houston's defense allowed 27.3 points per game over the first four weeks. Meanwhile, Titans quarterback Cam Ward and Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud are both aiming to rebound from late-game fourth-quarter struggles to secure a pivotal divisional victory.
