Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay expressed deep frustration and regret following a 37-34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills. McVay lamented his decision to attempt a field goal on third down instead of running another offensive play to secure closer yardage or a first down in extra time.
Faced with third-and-five at Buffalo's 30-yard line, McVay sent kicker Harrison Mevis out for a 48-yard attempt. Bills linebacker Greg Rousseau blocked the kick, allowing Buffalo to drive down the field and kick the game-winning field goal to secure the victory.
