Josh Allen rushed for 121 yards on 10 carries during the Buffalo Bills' 37-34 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Rams. The performance marked the second-highest single-game rushing total of his career, trailing only a 135-yard game in 2018. Allen also scored a rushing touchdown, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to record a rushing touchdown in each of his team's first five games of a season.
In overtime, Allen contributed rushes of 19 and 13 yards to position Buffalo for Tyler Bass' game-winning field goal. Running back James Cook added 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns as Buffalo totaled 234 rushing yards. Bills coach Joe Brady noted after the game that the team must improve its passing attack so Allen's running does not always have to be the answer.
