Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker defended quarterback Bryce Young following the team's 27-19 defeat to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Young finished the contest with one touchdown pass and one interception while failing to convert a two-point attempt. Coker expressed support for the quarterback postgame, stating that Young has a lot on his plate and taking responsibility himself for needing to create better separation on the field.
Coker caught Young's lone touchdown pass of the game, finishing with two receptions for 36 yards on five targets. Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard also contributed with a rushing touchdown and 81 yards. Despite the loss, Carolina remains tied atop the NFC South with a 3-4 record alongside the Atlanta Falcons.
