Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales announced that offensive tackle Taylor Moton, defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton, and running back Trevor Etienne are moving toward returns from their respective injury lists. Canales described Moton and Wharton as physically ready, though both players are still awaiting full medical clearance before returning to game action.
Moton has been sidelined since training camp due to a blood clot issue, while Wharton underwent offseason neck surgery. In Moton's absence, rookie Monroe Freeling has started at right tackle for Carolina, which currently holds a 2-2 record heading out of its bye week.
