Retired NFL receiver Chad Johnson made it known that his services are available after CBS parted ways with analyst Tony Romo in the network's No. 1 NFL booth on Friday.

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson expressed interest in joining CBS's top NFL broadcast booth after the network parted ways with analyst Tony Romo on Friday. Posting on social media, Johnson indicated he is ready for the role following Romo's departure.
However, CBS confirmed that J.J. Watt will remain in the primary booth alongside Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson for the rest of the season. Romo's exit followed a July arrest in Milwaukee on suspicion of operating while intoxicated, which concluded with a financial settlement between Romo and CBS.
