One of the biggest numbers on the minds of Chicago Bears' fans, in a historical sense, is still possible this season.

Brad Berreman of Bear Goggles On argues that Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams can still achieve a 4,000-yard passing season despite missing time with an injury. The franchise has never had a passer reach that statistical milestone. After suffering a significant hamstring injury late in Week 2, Williams returned in Week 6 and has recorded consecutive 300-yard passing performances against the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots.
Berreman notes that Williams is averaging 294 passing yards across his three healthy appearances this season. While maintaining that pace over the final 10 games would leave Williams slightly short of the mark, favorable upcoming matchups after the Week 10 bye could allow him to reach the 4,000-yard threshold.
