We rank our top select trade candidates for Ryan Poles and the Chicago Bears, ahead of the deadline, and after the recent Jeffery Simmons acquisition.
Following the trade acquisition of defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, writer Ryan Heckman argues that Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles should target secondary and pass rush help before the November 10 NFL trade deadline. Heckman identifies cornerback as the team's most pressing concern, criticizing the recent form of Jaylon Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson.
Heckman names Jets cornerback Nahshon Wright as the top potential trade target due to his familiarity with coordinator Dennis Allen's defensive scheme. Additional potential targets on Heckman's big board include Chargers cornerback Donte Jackson, Titans cornerback Alontae Taylor, and Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack.
