Former Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould has resigned as the head football coach at St. Viator High School less than a week after concluding his second season. The Arlington Heights school announced that Gould decided to step away to spend more time with his family, with school president Ryan Aiello thanking him for his dedication.
During his two seasons leading the Lions, Gould compiled a 3-15 record, finishing 1-8 in 2025 and 2-7 this year while missing the IHSA playoffs both times. Prior to St. Viator, Gould coached at Rolling Meadows following an 18-season NFL career where he became the Bears' all-time leading scorer.
