The Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons meet in Madrid, Spain Sunday morning with more riding on the result than the standings. Sunday's outcome could shape how both clubs handle the trade deadline, including one very familiar name.

John Sheeran of A to Z Sports suggests that a Cincinnati Bengals victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid could pave the way for a trade deadline deal. If the Falcons lose and drop to 3-6, falling out of serious playoff contention, Sheeran argues Atlanta could consider trading safety Jessie Bates III back to Cincinnati ahead of the Tuesday afternoon deadline.
The proposed trade deal would potentially send Cincinnati's projected 2027 third-round pick to Atlanta in exchange for Bates and a seventh-round pick. Sheeran notes that Bates previously played five seasons with the Bengals and recently voiced fondness for his former team, which could boost Cincinnati's defense for the remainder of the season.
