Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase addresses his sideline outburst in the stressful overtime win against the Tennessee Titans.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase addressed his sideline outburst during the team's Week 8 victory over the Tennessee Titans, stating the incident was blown out of proportion. Chase had visibly expressed frustration and threw his helmet after quarterback Joe Burrow underthrew him for an interception. Speaking ahead of Cincinnati's Week 9 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, Chase explained that his reaction stemmed from leadership and high competitive standards.
Both Burrow and head coach Zac Taylor brushed off concerns regarding Chase's emotions. Burrow attributed the frustration to turnovers and an emotional game, while Taylor noted he appreciated Chase's fire. The performance marked Chase's first 100-yard receiving game of the season, finishing with 11 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown.
