The Commanders announced that wide receiver Terry McLaurin will miss the rest of the season after their Week 6 loss to the 49ers, but they kept him on the roster during their bye week.

The Washington Commanders have officially placed wide receiver Terry McLaurin on injured reserve and signed receiver Van Jefferson to the active roster. McLaurin was previously announced to be out for the remainder of the season following a Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Washington had kept McLaurin on the active roster through their bye week before formally making the roster adjustments. Jefferson joins the team to reinforce their wide receiver depth moving forward.
