The Story in 60 Seconds

The Dallas Cowboys announced three roster moves ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas signed safety Juanyeh Thomas to the active roster, waived cornerback Caelen Carson, and signed quarterback Kyle Trask to the practice squad. The adjustments follow the team's 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers, which dropped Dallas to a 2-4 record.

Thomas earned his promotion after reaching the limit of three practice squad elevations this season. Carson was waived after his role decreased following the acquisition of Joey Porter Jr. and the return of DaRon Bland. Trask fills an open practice squad quarterback spot following Joe Milton III's move to Philadelphia.
