Dallas Cowboys return specialist KaVontae Turpin and linebacker Dee Winters are likely to miss Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer confirmed Turpin is dealing with a rib cartilage injury, while Winters suffered an Achilles strain during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. However, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant are both trending toward returning to action from their respective hamstring injuries.
Overshown stated he plans to play after missing five games, though Schottenheimer indicated Dallas will manage his snap count. Durant, who has been sidelined since Week 2, has also resumed on-field work. Meanwhile, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. re-aggravated an ankle injury against Green Bay but was able to return, and the Cowboys will evaluate return alternatives with Tyler Goodson and Jonathan Mingo.
