Ryan Flournoy Calls For Cowboys To Get Javonte Williams More Involved After Packers Loss

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy stated Tuesday that the offense must involve running back Javonte Williams more moving forward. His comments followed a 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers, a game in which Dallas attempted 54 passes compared to just 15 rushing attempts. Williams logged only 11 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown, receiving just one rushing attempt in the fourth quarter.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer noted that falling behind by two scores altered the game plan and forced Dallas into passing situations. The Cowboys generated just 48 total rushing yards against Green Bay. Sitting at 2-4 on the season, Dallas is now preparing to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field.
