Three Dallas Cowboys defenders took a financial hit after the overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. And one of those fines changes how a key second-quarter turnover looks in hindsight.

The NFL issued a combined $46,883 in fines to three Dallas Cowboys defenders following their overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown received a $9,528 fine for unnecessary roughness using his helmet on a play that caused a forced fumble but was not flagged during the game, effectively signaling a missed call by officials.
Safety PJ Locke was handed the highest penalty at $19,444 for an unnecessary roughness helmet hit in overtime. Additionally, edge rusher Rashan Gary was fined $17,911 for roughing the passer on a crucial third down in the fourth quarter.
