JERRY Jones has a major contract conundrum to deal with between George Pickens and now ANOTHER star after the Dallas Cowboys' major trade. The Cowboys made a blockbuster deal for star cornerback Joey Porter Jr. days before the Week 4…

The Dallas Cowboys acquired cornerback Joey Porter Jr. from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick ahead of Week 4. The trade creates a future contract dilemma for team owner Jerry Jones, who will face decisions on both Porter and wide receiver George Pickens when the season concludes.
Dallas applied the franchise tag to Pickens for $27.2 million this summer, but NFL rules prevent teams from using more than one franchise tag per season. Both Porter and Pickens share the same agent, David Mulugheta of Athletes First, adding further complexity to potential long-term contract extensions.
