Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer's game plan against the Cardinals is more proof that this job is too big for him.

Writing for The Landry Hat, Jerry Trotta argues that Jerry Jones' comments regarding the Dallas Cowboys' Week 8 conservative game plan against Arizona prove head coach Brian Schottenheimer is unfit for his role. Jones revealed on 105.3 The Fan that the team deliberately focused on avoiding turnovers and running the ball to protect Dak Prescott.
Trotta contends that Schottenheimer's risk-averse strategy ignored Arizona's strong run defense and Dallas' vulnerable defense. Despite blowing a 24-10 lead, Dallas reportedly has no immediate plans to fire Schottenheimer during the season.
