The Green Bay Packers placed defensive lineman Warren Brinson on injured reserve on Saturday after he suffered a non-contact groin injury during his return to practice. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Brinson, who has also been dealing with a calf issue since the preseason, is expected to require a significant amount of time to recover.
In additional roster news, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper has fully cleared the NFL concussion protocol and is available for Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Aaron Banks, Jacob Monk, and Anthony Campbell have all been ruled out for the upcoming contest.
