Daniel Jones threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Keenan Allen and passed for 235 yards to lead the Colts to their first win of the season.
Houston took a brief 17-16 lead with 1:48 left following a 1-yard touchdown run by Woody Marks, set up by Will Anderson Jr.'s strip-sack. C.J. Stroud also threw a touchdown pass to Foster Moreau for the Texans, who fell to 0-3 on the season. Shrader finished the game with four field goals, including a 58-yarder.
