Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen has been ruled out of Sunday’s Week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders in London due to a groin injury. Allen was limited in Thursday's practice and missed Friday's walk-through after sustaining the injury. Through three games, the 34-year-old veteran ranks second on the team in receiving yards with 13 catches for 100 yards and one touchdown.
Allen's absence compounds injury issues for the Colts' receiving corps, with Alec Pierce currently on injured reserve due to a heel injury. To address the shortage ahead of the London game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Indianapolis elevated Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the practice squad. Ashton Dulin could also return from an ankle injury, while recent addition Darius Slayton may make his team debut.
