The Colts' 42-7 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday at EverBank Stadium was their largest margin of defeat in nearly four years.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen stated he will evaluate every position going forward, including starting quarterback Daniel Jones, following a 42-7 Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jones completed 19 of 28 passes for 144 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions before backup Anthony Richardson Sr. entered in the fourth quarter.
The defeat marked Indianapolis's fourth consecutive loss, dropping their record to 2-6 on the season. Amid ongoing trade chatter ahead of the NFL trade deadline, both Steichen and Jones stressed that team effort and energy will be closely assessed across the roster.
