The Jacksonville Jaguars just announced that safety Eric Murray will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an elbow injury in Week 8.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen announced on Monday that safety Eric Murray is done for the season due to an elbow injury suffered during Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. Murray sustained the injury on the opening kickoff and did not return. Coen also confirmed that defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton will miss the remainder of the year after both players were hurt in the win.
With safety Antonio Johnson currently managing an ankle injury, Jacksonville relied on Rayuan Lane and Kaevon Merriweather following Murray's departure. The Jaguars could elevate Cam'Ron Silmon-Craig from the practice squad or explore trade options ahead of the deadline, with Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker cited as a potential replacement target.
