Mike McDaniel's most recent press conference says everything you need to know about how that hire is going.

Matt Conner writes that Andy Reid's decision to rehire Eric Bieniemy as Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator is proving successful compared to Mike McDaniel's tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs lead the AFC West with a 4-0 record, supported by a top-ranked offense. Meanwhile, McDaniel faces growing scrutiny as the Chargers have started their season 0-4.
Under McDaniel, Los Angeles ranks 29th in points scored and sits near the bottom of the league in turnovers lost. In contrast, Bieniemy's Kansas City offense ranks fifth in total points and third in total yards through the first four weeks, validating Reid's trust in his former coordinator.
