The Chiefs will face the Broncos without Mansoor Delane and L'Jarius Sneed, forcing major adjustments in the secondary.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without cornerbacks Mansoor Delane and L'Jarius Sneed for their Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Delane was ruled out due to an ongoing shoulder injury that worsened during practice, while Sneed was placed on injured reserve because of a knee issue, sidelining him for at least four games.
To compensate for the secondary losses, the Chiefs signed Melvin Smith to the active roster from the practice squad. Veteran Kristian Fulton is expected to step into the starting lineup alongside Nohl Williams, with Chris Roland-Wallace and rookie Jadon Canady providing additional depth.
