The Kansas City Chiefs have signed wide receiver Andrew Armstrong from the practice squad to their active 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Armstrong, an undrafted rookie from Arkansas, previously made his NFL regular-season debut in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers, recording one reception for 13 yards on two targets.
The roster opening was created after the Chiefs placed left tackle Josh Simmons on injured reserve. The move also adds depth at receiver as Rashee Rice is expected to miss his second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury.
