The Story in 60 Seconds

Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Nazeeh Johnson has received a clean bill of health and is ready to sign with an NFL team, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Johnson underwent ankle surgery earlier in the summer and recently served a six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Johnson was released by the Tennessee Titans in late August following the injury and suspension, which he stated stemmed from an unlisted substance in a fertility medication. Prior to signing with Tennessee, Johnson took free-agent visits with the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Chicago Bears, and is now seeking a new opportunity midway through the 2026 season.
