Numbers never lie, right? There are so many statistics to parse through during the NFL season that some can be misleading. After each game, it’s a good exercise to review NFL “Next Gen Stats” and “Premium Stats” from Pro Football…

Ron Kopp Jr of Arrowhead Pride analyzed five key statistics highlighting the Kansas City Chiefs' recent loss against the Denver Broncos. According to Pro Football Focus tracking, no Chiefs defender secured more than one quarterback pressure, while the team's wide receivers averaged just 5.2 yards per target despite the return of Rashee Rice. Additionally, running back Kenneth Walker struggled on the ground, managing only 105 rushing yards across the Chiefs' last two games.
On a positive note, starting cornerbacks Nohl Williams and Kristian Fulton limited Denver's perimeter receivers to 29 receiving yards. Offensively, Kansas City tied a season-high mark with 28 plays run from under center, though they averaged only 4.5 yards per play. Kopp argues that offensive inconsistencies and the defensive suppression of Walker support the potential logic of making a trade-deadline move.
