Russell Wilson has jokingly requested that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes retire to protect a historic NFL record. Mahomes recently earned his 98th career victory, leaving him close to surpassing Wilson and Peyton Manning for the most quarterback wins in their first 10 seasons.

Wilson compiled 104 wins in his opening decade, while Manning set the mark with 105. With 14 games left in the 2026 season, Mahomes trails Wilson by six wins and Manning by seven.
