TeamSmile and Kansas City Chiefs host free clinic for underserved children

TeamSmile partnered with the Kansas City Chiefs to host the 20th annual Kansas City Oral Health Care Day at Arrowhead Stadium. The event provided free dental care for approximately 350 underserved children from seven local area schools. In addition to receiving exams, cleanings, and dental procedures, the students enjoyed face-painting, music, and interactions with Chiefs players and cheerleaders.

Dr. Bill Busch established TeamSmile in 2007, and the organization has since served over 70,000 children nationwide across more than 35 states. Key attendees included Chiefs Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and defensive end Ashton Gillotte, who met with children to help ease their anxiety during treatments.
