Former NFL coach Jon Gruden explains surprise appearance at Donald Trump’s rally

Former NFL head coach Jon Gruden made a surprise appearance at a Donald Trump campaign rally in Vandalia, Ohio. Speaking to the crowd, Gruden explained that he attended to endorse his former college football teammate, Senate candidate Jon Husted, ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.

Gruden highlighted his personal ties to Ohio and praised Husted's work ethic and athletic background from their time at the University of Dayton. While Gruden appeared at the rally alongside Trump's administration, his speech focused primarily on supporting Husted rather than discussing the former president directly.
