The sixth-best red zone offense versus the fourth-worst red zone defense. That’s the high-level tale of the tape when Joe Brady’s Buffalo Bills (4-1 overall) offense clashes with Rob Leonard’s Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) defense this Sunday inside Allegiant Stadium.…

The Las Vegas Raiders enter their Week 6 matchup against the Buffalo Bills facing a difficult test for their struggling red zone defense. Head coach Joe Brady's Bills boast the sixth-best red zone offense in the NFL, scoring 15 touchdowns on 21 trips, led by quarterback Josh Allen's league-leading eight rushing touchdowns. In contrast, defensive coordinator Rob Leonard's Raiders defense ranks 29th, having allowed touchdowns on 14 of 18 opponent trips into the red zone.
Las Vegas will rely on edge rushers Maxx Crosby, Malcolm Koonce, and Kwity Paye to maintain gap discipline against Allen and running back James Cook. However, Buffalo's defense has also struggled, ranking 27th in the red zone and 30th in total yards allowed. This provides an opportunity for head coach Klint Kubiak, offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko, and quarterback Kirk Cousins to capitalize through the air.
